Foreword from the President |
|
Dear Members,
Dear Colleagues,
As announced, this month has been a very busy and exciting period. The #EURegionsWeek University programme (Master class and University Sessions) encountered once again a huge success! We are proud to share the trust and support of Marc Lemaitre, Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO).
I also had the pleasure to be the 7th Central European Conference in Sopron (Hungary) and was impressed by the quality of the scientific content of the conference but also by its very good organisation.
Only a few days ago, I attended a great lecture given by Jouke van Dijk on ‘Human Capital and regional labour markets’ at DG Regio premises within the framework of REGIO-ERSA Academic Lecture Series.
Finally, I would like to warmly congratulate Roberta Capello for her election as the New President of AISRe and wish her and the entire new board Team a lot of success.
Now the Call for special Sessions for our 60th ERSA Congress in Bolzano is ongoing, we invite you to spread it worldwide and to submit your proposals !
Yours,
André Torre
President of ERSA |
