Word from the President
 Now at the end of 2009, ERSA can look back to yet another year of successful activities. The 49th European Congress of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI) in Lodz was from what I have heard (I couldn’t participate due to serious illness in the family) a success from an organizational point of view. We all thank the Polish LOC for all their efforts to make the congress a success and we also thank the University of Lodz for hosting the congress. The Lodz congress was the first test of ERSA’s new congress software that except for some minor problems functioned well. A new and improved version of the software will be used for the 2010 congress.
During 2009 an ERSA summer school was organized in Volos in Greece – a summer school that was very much appreciated by the participants. read more |
