Apreciados socios les adjuntamos el Call for papers del 6th Seminar "Jean Paelinck" of Spatial Econometrics, que tendrá lugar este año, en el mes de octubre en la UAM (Madrid).

The 6th edition of the Seminar “Jean Paelinck” in Spatial Econometrics will be held in Madrid, organized by the ECONRES Research Group of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Professor Jean Paelinck is one of the pioneers and more prestigious specialist in Spatial Econometrics. He is emeritus professor of the University Erasmus of Rotterdam and, nowadays, he is visitor professor in the North American University George Mason of Fairfax (the USA).

The conference aims to provide a forum for debate between young and consolidated researchers and it is open to both theoretical and applied papers which deal explicitly with questions of spatial modelling. It will be of special interest those contributions that within the scope of Spatial Econometrics. The seminar is structured on a series of invited lectures around which four open sessions will be held dedicated to the contributions received and selected by the conference Scientific Committee.

The deadline for receiving proposals is 10th July, 2013. Interested authors can send their proposals (final version in as a Word or plain-text) directly to Coro Chasco (coro.chasco@uam.es). It will be of special interest those contributions that lie within the scope of “Spatial Panels, Longitudinal Data Models and New Developments in spatial econometrics”.
