The 2018 ERSA Congress concluded successfully on 31 August
Our satisfaction survey confirms that the congress programme encountered a good satisfaction of 83% of respondents.

The survey also reveals that Networking opportunities met the expectations of 95% of respondents with and 85% were happy with the feedback obtained on their research from peers.

2018 ERSA Prize Winner

Andrés Rodríguez-Pose

was awarded the ERSA Prize in Regional Science for his outstanding contribution to pushing the boundaries of regional science. more

 

Newly elected President of ERSA

ERSA Section representatives unanimously elected André Torre as the new President of ERSA at the ERSAC Meeting held at Cork on 31 August.
André Torre, will succeed Jouke van Dijk as per January 2019.

André underlines «the attractiveness of ERSA with its place at the forefront of the scientific debate and as a meeting point for researchers from various places, disciplines and approaches”. more

 

Handover of the ERSA flag to Lyon

A key moment of the Closing Ceremony, was the handover of the ERSA flag to Lyon, City host of the 59th ERSA Congress to be held from 27-30 August 2019. 

The preparations have already started. We wish the Lyon Local Organising Committee and ERSA French Section ASRDLF a lot of success.
