For the 51st European Congress of the Regional Science Association International, the Local Organising Committee has decided to introduce a Lower Fee policy which is, as follows:

 

 

 

 

The Congress Participant’s Registration fee will include:

 

- Participation in the scientific programme (sessions, round tables, etc…)

- Congress bag (Congress programme, list of participants etc)

- Coffees and Lunches

- Welcome reception 

- Gala Dinner  

 

*RSAI member(s): if you are a member of RSAI or one of its Super Regional Organizations (ERSA, PRSCO, NARSC).

 

*There will be a reduced fee for those:

 

- born in 1979 or later,

- for delegates from lower income countries (see list below)  and

- for PREPARE candidates.

 

 

Lower income countries are defined as: countries of former Eastern Europe (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia), Turkey, Asia (excluding Japan, Korea and Israel), Africa and Latin America.

 

** The Accompanying person’s fee is intended for persons who want to accompany a delegate to the congress, but who will NOT be participating in the scientific programme (sessions, round tables, etc…).  

 

This fee will include:

 

- Coffees and lunches

- Welcome reception

- Formal Congress Dinner 

Please note: information on all Technical Visits and Post-Congress & Accompanying Person Programs will be available on the ERSA website.

ERSA office – Summer School in Luxembourg

Dear Members,

 

We hope you had a good and relaxing Easter break before rushing to the last part of this academic year with Summer School and Conference preparation for some of you.

 

This is to give you a quick update as to the Summer School in Luxembourg.  

Organisation is running smoothly.  

Our main external lecturers confirmed participation (Brueckner, Thill, Thisse, Frankhauser). The EIB staff shows strong interest.  

The website provides all detailed information and the registration process via the form set up by the office works very well (Thank you Richard and Maristella).

 

As you have seen from last newsletter, we decided to extend the call for participants. It is now open till the 15th of May.

 

Since, there are still seats available, I will be grateful if you would circulate again among your networks and interested PhD stud
ents the call for participants.
