It is a great pleasure for me to announce that the 2016 ERSA Summer School will be held at Politecnico di Milano, from 3-10 July 2016.

Together with the Italian Section of RSAI, A.I.S.Re., we are preparing a promising programme, centred around the topic "Space, Territory and Growth. Advances in Regional Science".

Eminent scholars in the field of Regional Science will provide lectures on theoretical topics at the frontier of our discipline, without renouncing to explain the most advanced methods for empirical research on these topics.

We also look forward to hearing research projects of the new talented generation of Regional Scientists: an enriching and stimulating debate for ALL of us.
