Economists in Spain and the World Economics Association
Dear Economists in Spain,
The World Economics Association was launched on 16 May 2011. Already it has over 8,900 members and is the world’s second largest association of economists. It has 157 members from Spain and wants more. To this end, it would be very helpful if you would make the information below available to your members and colleagues.
Thank you.

The World Economics Association (WEA) was launched on May 16, 2011. Already it has over 8,800 members and is the world’s second largest association of economists. This phenomenal success has come about because the WEA fills a huge gap in the international community of economists — the absence of a professional organization which is truly international and pluralist.
