Foreword from the President
Dear Members, Dear Colleagues,
Last 8th February, we held of our 1st EOC meeting of the year in Bolzano, the venue of our next ERSA Congress (25-28 August 2020).
I would like to thank Thomas, Andrea and Anna of the ERSA2020 LOC, for their warm hospitality during our all the duration of our stay. Our agenda included the visit of the main facilities of the Congress: the magnificent EURAC Center and the modern University of Bolzano. The LOC’s preparations are progressing well and we are very confident to have another rich-content programme and well-organised event next August.
May I draw your attention to our agenda containing numerous deadlines like the Call for abstracts for the Congress and the Call for application of our next Summer School.
I look forward to meeting you in one of our future events and maybe already next week with the REGIO-ERSA Lecture with Roberta Capello in Brussels.
Best wishes,
André Torre,
ERSA President |

«In my opinion the main challenge for the regional science community, is to become better policy-oriented… translating what this research would mean for improving the world, what kind of policy measure should be taken, that we need to do better.»
