CALL FOR PAPERS
The Urban Economics Association invites the submission of high quality papers dealing with the economics of cities, housing, real state, local public good provision, and the distribution of economic activity in space for a series of organized sessions at the 51st European Congress of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI). These urban economics sessions constitute the 1st European Meetings of the Urban Economics Association. The Urban Economics Association seeks to promote participation and excellence in academic research in urban and regional economics.
Potential presenters are requested to submit only one paper each as the number of papers that can be included in these sessions is limited. Papers submitted to the Urban Economics Council must not be submitted to any other session of the 51st European Congress of RSAI. However, we will notify you by March 1st, 2011 three days before the RSAI deadline (March 4, 2011) whether your paper is accepted to an urban economics session.
PROGRAMME COMMITTEE: Henry Overman (LSE), Diego Puga (IMDEA Social Sciences Institute), Kurt Schmidheiny (Basel and Pompeu Fabra) and Jacques-François Thisse (Université catholique de Louvain).
SUBMISSION: Please submit a paper or extended abstract through the online submission form at http://www.urbaneconomics.org/meetings/emuea/
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 21, 2011.
