The Regional Science Association International organizes its 1st Summer Course, with the theme Regional and Urban Economics, Theory, Analysis and Operational Models that will be held between June 13th until June 21th 2011 in Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal.
The RSAI Summer Course offers an integrated structure of training, active participation, and discussion for PhD students and young researchers in regional science.
The summer course will be focused on the issue Regional and Urban Economics, Theory, Analysis and Operational Models. In a format of combined lectures and hands on training provided by top-level experts that will lectures the following themes of regional science: Urban and regional economics; Spatial econometrics and Operational models of regional economies.
Application process
Master student, doctoral, PhD students and other applicants who want to participate in the summer course should submit the Application Form (download file) by email to rsai@apdr.pt. This Application Form must be accompanied by:

The registration fee is 200 euro (The number of participants is limited to 25).
It includes: attending all lectures, study visit, coffee/tea, lunches, official dinner, accommodation in double room (Terceira Mar Hotel).
