Diego Puga, profesor investigador en IMDEA Ciencias Sociales, ha sido seleccionado como Fellow de la Regional Science Association International (RSAI).

La RSAI es una comunidad internacional de investigadores en ciencia regional, con más de 3.000 miembros en todo el mundo. El fellowship es uno de los más distinguidos reconocimientos académicos vitalicio, que la RSAI da. El Consejo del RSAI, inició este premio (RSAI Fellows Award) en 2001 para galardonar a un grupo de investigadores que han contribuido en el campo de la ciencia regional con destacadas aportaciones académicas y de investigación. Puga recibirá su premio en la 57th Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association en Denver, EE.UU., en noviembre de 2010.

Diego Puga, Research Professor at IMDEA Social Sciences, has been selected as a Fellow of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI).  The RSAI is an international community of scholars interested in regional science with a worldwide membership exceeding 3,000.  The fellowship is one of the most high profile symbols of academic recognition the RSAI gives, and is a lifetime appointment.  The RSAI Council initiated the RSAI Fellows Award in 2001, to honor a select group of researchers who have made important scholarly and research contributions to the field of regional science. Puga will receive his award at the 57th Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association in Denver, USA, in November 2010.
