ONLY 3 DAYS FOR INFER CONFERENCE DEADLINE (MONDAY 29th FEBRUARY)| Infer 18th Anual Conference – June  8th-10th, 2016  in Reus

 
   

Dear colleagues,

Next Monday (February 29th) is the deadline for submissions to INFER Annual Conference. We would like to remember you that INFER AC will take place in Reus, at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the Rovira i Virgili University in June 2016 (8th, 9th and 10th).
 
The INFER Annual Conference is open to contributions from all areas of economic research. However, we especially encourage submissions related to the following topics:

  • Emerging markets economies and globalization
  • Financial and Debt Crisis
  • Economic Asymmetries
  • Fiscal Policy and Public Finance
  • Growth, Technical Progress and Innovation
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Industrial Economics and Microeconomics
  • Housing Economics
  • International Trade and Economic Geography
  • Labour and Capital Markets
  • Energy Economics
  • Macroeconomic Policy
  • Monetary and Financial Economics
  • Public Economics
  • Regional, Urban and Rural Economics

The conference will start Wednesday June 8th with a Welcome Address at Centre de Lectura de Reus, a cultural institution located at the historical city centre. The invited lecture by Guillem López-Casasnovas (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and a Cocktail will follow at the same place.

 
On Thursday 9th, the ordinary sessions will start at Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, as well as the second invited lecture by Diego Puga (CEMFI). At the end of the day, we have organized the conference dinner at Vermut Rofes, an ancient vermouth factory of Reus.

 
On Friday 10th, the ordinary sessions will continue as well as the third invited lecture by Thierry Mayer (Sciences-Po). A Farewell will close the conference at Friday afternoon.

 
After the end of the INFER Annual Conference we have organised at walking guided tour at Reus city centre. The visit has been organised by Tourist Office of Reus and will include a tour inside Gaudi Centre, the modern and interactive museum about the architect Antoni Gaudí.
