IV Workshop on Transparency, Corruption and Quality of Government

The IV Workshop on Transparency, Corruption and Quality of Government is an academic meeting point for researchers in various fields related to institutions, their assessment and their socio-economic impacts. The Workshop is scheduled to be held in person on October 26, 2023, at the Universitat Jaume I (Castelló de la Plana, Spain): Sala de juntas Arcadi Garcia i Sanz, Faculty of Law and Economics.

 

Program Highlights: In its IV edition, the workshop features presentations by notable researchers, covering a range of topics, including the interplay between institutions and digital technology in shaping income inequality, the development of sub-national corruption perception indices, the impact of economic sanctions and political regimes, comprehensive policy evaluation and analysis, government spending efficiency, and the role of institutions on the resource-growth nexus.

 

Organizers: The workshop is organized by the Cátedra de Transparencia Pública (Chair of Public Transparency) and the Instituto Interuniversitario de Desarrollo Local (Interuniversity Institute of Local Development) from Universitat Jaume I. It is held in collaboration with funding from the Generalitat Valenciana.
