Invitation – The Barcelona model of urban transformation – 28 June 2018

Don’t miss this talk, panel discussion and networking drinks on the past and future of the 22@ district in conversation with former Mayor of Barcelona and former Secretary General of UN Habitat Dr Joan Clos @Joanclos.

This is a must-attend event for students and policy makers of urbanism in Barcelona who may wish to discuss how well the 22@ is serving as a platform for the knowledge economy of Barcelona.

This event is part of RMIT’s summer school on Urban Futures run by our School of Global Urban Social Studies.

Dr Clos will be joined by distinguished panellists David Martinez  (Director – 22@ Coordination Committee), Mara Balestrini @marabales (Ideas for Change) and Marco Amati (RMIT University’s Centre for Urban Research). The audience will include policy makers, smart city professionals, academics and students.
