Important message to RSAI World Congress delegates

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great distress that I woke up this morning at the news of a military coup in Thailand. I have been in close contact with our Local Organizing Committee through all these events and again several times this morning. We feel that the current situation and evolving conditions are not met for holding the Congress in Ayutthaya next week. Therefore, the Congress in our planned venue is cancelled. Because so many of you have worked on getting your best research ready to be presented and shared with colleagues of the worldwide community of regional science, I want to explore the possibility of holding some form of virtual scientific “conference”, which will allow to share your work, get feedback from colleagues, and also receive academic credit for your hard work.

More information will be shared with you soon on this virtual experience. We will also inform you about refunds of the registration fees.

Sincerely,

Jean-Claude Thill

RSAI President
