2023 Barcelona Workshop on Regional and Urban Economics – Call for Papers – AQR-IREA – on October 26th – 27th, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

AQR-IREA is pleased to announce the 2023 Barcelona Workshop on Regional and Urban Economics: Global Cities, to be held in Barcelona on October 26th – 27th, 2023.

 

The workshop will be focused on the global challenges that cities face, with special attention on spatial dynamics, urbanisation and development. Methodological and empirical contributions will be welcomed.

Keynotes:
Lewis Dijkstra (Urban and Territorial Analysis, Joint Research Centre and LSE)
Elisa Giannone (Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional, CREI)Audience:
We will accommodate around 8 to 10 papers, to be presented in plenary sessions that will complement the keynote presentations.

Key dates:

Deadline for papers submisions: September 10th, 2023
Notification of acceptance: September 18th, 2023
Preliminary programme: September 22nd, 2023
Registration opens: September 22nd, 2023
Final programme: October 9th, 2023
Registration close: October 24th, 2023
