Now open to receive submissions of full research articles and comprehensive review papers for peer-review and possible publication

The following Special Issue of which I am the Guest Editor will be published in Urban Science (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/urbansci), and is now open to receive submissions of full research articles and comprehensive review papers for peer-review and possible publication:

Special Issue: Regional Economic Development

Website: http://www.mdpi.com/journal/urbansci/special_issues/regional_economic

Guest Editor: Dr. Simón Sánchez-Moral

Deadline for manuscript submissions: 30 September 2018

Given your interesting work on the theme and related disciplines, I personally invite you and your colleagues to submit a contribution for this special issue in which some of the leading experts will describe their work, ideas and findings. Your paper will be published as a feature paper, free of charge and after our standard peer-review procedure, in our open access journal Urban Science.

This Special Issue will be fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers, with authors retaining all copyrights) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies (MDPI registered an average of 8.4 million page views and article downloads per month!). More information is available at

http://www.mdpi.com/about/openaccess/.
